妖怪七宝シリーズ5番目は大緋鯉です。隅田川に現れた大きな鯉は全身を赤に覆われ金色のひれを持っています。

赤は1色ではなく濃い赤と薄い赤の2種類を使用しています。妖怪作家天野行雄さんの七宝が引き立つデザインに感謝です。

Red carp residing in Sumida River Whose size is said to be as large as a small Whale.

When it moves in water, the waterappeared to be dyed in red.

The story tells that, when constructing Senj-ohashi Bridge, the carp hit the piles and shook the bridge,

thus they widened the distance between the third and fourth piles.
